A Message from the EBEA President

Kathy Lozano EBEA President

Happy New Year! 2017 is going to be a great year! I am excited to serve as your 2017 President. I have served you in the past in several roles with the EBEA Board including being President twice. I have also served on the Alameda board and have served on the Executive Board for 14 years and State President twice.
We as an organization have monthly board meetings at my office on the 1st Thursday of the month and dinner meetings every other month. My board will be hard at work to provide a variety of excellent speakers for our meetings. I’d like to personally invite you to attend both our monthly board meetings and dinner meetings. With that being said, we are always looking for new talent and ideas! If you have ideas for programs or anything in general regarding our organization, we are all ears!
As a member of CEA, I encourage you to attend our upcoming conferences. We have the NorCal conference in July and our Annual CEA Conference in October. Stay tuned for information about both conferences. The programs will be top notch!
Thank you for being a member of EBEA and investing in your profession. If there’s anything I can do to make your membership more worth wile or better for you, please let me know.
Yours in education, Kathy Lozano
